Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 19, 2026
The short version: Road to Shodan collects no data. None.
Road to Shodan works offline. The only time it uses the network is when Apple's App Store checks or completes a purchase.
- No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for.
- No data collection. The app collects no personal information, no usage analytics, no identifiers, and no diagnostics beyond the aggregate crash reports Apple provides to all developers (which you opt into via iOS settings).
- No tracking. There are no third-party SDKs, no advertising frameworks, and no analytics libraries in the app.
- Your data stays on your device. Your games, scores, mistakes, and progress are stored only on your device. They never leave it, and we run no servers. If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it.
- Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment information. See Apple's privacy policy for how Apple handles purchase data.
Because the app collects nothing, there is nothing for us to sell, share, lose, or be breached of.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and, collecting no data, is compliant with children's privacy requirements by construction.
Changes
If a future version ever changes any of the above, this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be called out in the App Store release notes.
